| Roger comes from a military family and is a native of Mississippi. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Bible and Psychology from Blue Mountain of Blue Mountain, Mississippi. He also holds a Master of Divinity Degree from the Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently seeking a Doctor of Ministry Degree from the same institution. |

| Roger is married to Lisa K. Vogt of Konawa, Oklahoma. Roger and Lisa are also the parents of Sarah, Jonathan, Abigail and Rachel. He has served as a Church Planter Apprentice in upstate New York with the Home Mission Board (Presently known as the North American Mission Board) of the Southern Baptist Convention. He has also served as a pastor in churches in the suburbs of Chicago, downstate Illinois, and in rural Missouri and Kansas. |

| It is Roger’s motto “to know God and make Him known.” His passion is to see people come to know God in a personal relationship and to grow in that relationship daily. His teaching and preaching seeks to draw men and women closer to God. |
